Oh the woe of no Blaz in Europe *sobs*, I am in truth finding it pretty hard to bare now, especially when I see all these fricking threads popping up.

I am considering my options and will make a decision soon, all I know is I cannot go without it.

Anyway, here lies some light relief for those facing the same woe. Or simply fellow fighting game fans who want something new to play around with..

Vanguard Princess

This cool looking 2D fighter was created by Sugeno Tomoaki, who is supposedly an ex-Capcom employee. The game is freeware and there's a link to the download below. It's surprisingly good, it's also amazing to think that one guy alone made it...

If your using Vista, go into change display language> admin> and change the language for non-unicode programs to [Japanese]

Don't be alarmed thinking it will change all the text on your PC, because it wont. The screen res may change to support Japanese font and you will now be able to exe the game via the game exe shortcut in the data folder.

I had assumed it was common knowledge the game wont be coming to Europe. There are no plans and not even any rumours of potential publishers for the game here.

On another note, BlazBlue looks great running on a PSP via Remote Play

Wow. I hadn't heard otherwise so had just assumed it was coming like normal. Shit. Fuck. And at risk of breakin Giantbombs 'swearing is ok, but don't go overboard' rule, bollocks.

That absolutely makes my blood boil, I think i'm going to explode. What in the world makes (insert developer publisher here) think that is acceptable in this day and age? That's horrendous. Lemme take a wild fucking stab in the dark and say i'm guessing the 360 version is region locked too? Shit that makes me so angry.

Edit: Well i'm not bloody well buying KOF or Tekken. BlazBlue or bust, I guess i'll be going back to Super Turbo for like the 14th year in a row for my fighting game fix. Playing it for this long you'd think i'd be considerably better at it as well. No such luck.

Well I am getting KoF12, but I do want this far more. I have no interest in Tekken 6, it's never been my type of fighting game,

@Linkyshinks: To make your first post a little more helpful, you should make the blog site a Google Translate link or at least add it up there. I had to use it so I knew what to click on there. It may be helpful for some users here on GB.

Can't you import the game? I'm not sure about 360 version but the PS3 version will certainly be region free? The only thing that won't work is DLC I believe.
