@Snail: They weren't any more liberal, at least not in how they were enforced, the way the rules were expressed were probably just less elaborated and not quite as clear.

@zkillz: GB converts images to jpgs when they're uploaded. Not much we can do about the artifacting except for host them somewhere else - it just seems sensible to keep them hosted here.

Did you read it? What we did was eliminate the difference between wiki-only mods and forum mods. There is now one class of moderator and we all have the same authority and tools at our disposal.
