Few things. Add achievements link to this menu. That's an easy change, there is plenty of room in there.

Another thing that popped to my head the other day is that there should be a way to have DLC credits separated from the main game credits. Since DLC's don't have their own pages, at least have a tab or something in the credits for separate listing if users need it.

And we still don't have a good way to suggest new credit roles to be added to the list of professions.

Just a few thoughts.

A thing that came to my mind while adding credits to a game that has versions on pretty much all platforms. There should be a way to somehow specify what platform someone worked on. For example, it's reasonable to assume that the credits are mostly same in PS3, 360 and PC version of Assassin's Creed. Probably not so much in the iPhone version though.

But that would probably complicate the credit input quite a bit.

Well the iphone version should probably have it's own page since it is significantly different from the PS3, 360 and PC versions. And people in the credits section can have a description, which could describe what version they worked on.

No idea about separate pages, it was just an example that fits right now.

Freeform fields such as the current notes fields are not really the best way to input consistent data. But I guess it's not a big deal anyway, considering how few games seem to have a lot of credits entered right now.
But if something platform related were to be added to credits later, it would a huge pain in the ass to sort the already entered credits.

So I don't know, maybe I'm just anal about these things. I guess it's something to think about at least.

With there now being 6 stickies on the main board I was thinking things like the FAQ should have a permanent fixture in the side tab or something. The design could do with some cleaning up maybe...

Another thing, making a response to Question of the Day makes a blog post. The option for it not to do that would be nice.

I completely agree. A good example is Madden 09. The Wii, PSP, DS versions all by different developers. If I put them in the credits its just a giant list. Plus they automaticlly say they work for whoever is listed as the developer. 50 Cent and Dr. Dre are listed as employees for the company that made 50 Cent Bulletproof

I posted this separately before I saw this thread, but what about the ability to see grade cutoffs for achievement ranks, ie you have a B in xyz game now and you need ## more points / achievements in order to get an A.

Yes Please. I would very much like an easy way to download some of the videos (usually the quicklooks) to my psp to watch on the train ride home.

My suggestion is that we add a "I have played this game" button to all the games. As you browse the site you can click that button if you have played the game. I have always wanted to create a list on my own just to see how many games I have played (that I can remember). Advantages for this....

This will encourage users to visit old games on this page
You could post stats of which game has been played the most, overall, per console,per genre
You could see who else has played some old games and perhaps strike up conversations with them

Perhaps you would also be able to have an option for older games where you get notified when a topic/post/blog etc is posted for a certain game.

Thoughts?

I'd like a schedule of times for the main features of the site, like the Bombcast and Quick Looks. It would make it so much easier for the UK users like myself who stay up until 3am waiting for the Bombcast to know when it's scheduled to go up, even if it's just as an estimate time.

Just my suggestion. :)
