Yeah it's stupid stereotyping girls who play games, or girls or listen to heavy metal or anything else like that. But I would still like to meet a girl who is into the same games as me, all the girls I know go : your an idiot with no life. when I tell them what I do in my spare time.

"What a coincidence that you happen to mention the "Imagine" franshise. It has some pretty good games actually. Ubisoft only published those games under the imagine name, they are all developed by separate studios."I don't know whether I should be congratulating you for playing the Imagine games or creeped out that you actually think they are good... :S
"It's not an advert. That Girl Gamer 'magazine' is a pull-out insert that can be found in UK girls magazines; I think in Bliss/Sugar/whatever they're called."I used the wrong word, I should have said cover. It's so ridiculous, it's funny.
"You heard it here first- Brukaoru: The Attention Whore Saga.HEY JAYGE, WHY HAVEN'T YOU SENT ME A MESSAGE ON XBL YET?!?! ARE YOU TALKING TO SOME OTHER GIRLS?!?! I SHOULD BE THE ONLY GIRL YOU TALK TO!!10101 DON'T U WANT TO PLAY BARBIE'S HORSE ADVENTURES WITH ME?!?!
>.>

I'm so going to get kicked in the nuts."

"It's all stereotypical. If you are a female who plays games, you are automatically assumed to like girly games. If females play "real" games (I don't consider games like the "Imagine" series to be real games), we are presumed to be wanting attention. I don't want attention, I just want to play games. I don't want pink consoles, I don't want girly games. I hate when developers like Ubisoft feel the need to create special games just to target the female audience. I hate games that cater to one gender.OMG ANOTHER ONE.
Yes, there are some females who just want attention, that's part of their personality. There are people who beg for attention, male and female, it's very silly to judge all female gamers based on the few who just want to be noticed. Although I really hate these female-only clans popping up everywhere now, I can see why so many of them are being created. Female gamers are trying to get out their feelings that they play real games too, and they want developers to know that we don't want games that only target our gender. I just hope in the future, developers realize that females are playing the same games that they think will only appeal to males and understand that they don't need to create "special" games just for us.
Also, that Nintendo magazine advertisement is hilarious. Great find."

"stuff"I said something along these lines a previous topic, but the reply was a day late, so you I guess I didn't expect you to see it. Anyways, if you don't want attention, and you don't want 'girl' games, then what the fuck are you rambling on about? If you're content with Gears, Halo, or whatever crap you like to play, then why do you feel the need to bitch? Or do you want them to add a female protagonist.. when you just said you didn't want them to target women.

I have no fucking idea where you're going with this.. do you want companies to stop producing good-selling shovel ware games? Is that you're one complaint? Because that's just fucking ridiculous. They make money, and companies will produce them for that. Just as males, no one is forcing you to buy them. Companies will make them, because they sell, and 'real gamers' won't buy them. End of story.

Just because you're a tomboy doesn't mean you should ask for a whole social reform. If you like Halo and Gears, then like Halo and Gears. No ones stoping you. Should girls stop playing with Barbies now too, just because you don't like them?
