Welcome!
Recently, a trend has been growing in our community: user made box art based on classic novel artwork. We all saw Ryan's story on trend.
Well, I know that we have a lot of talent here at Giant Bomb, and I say we see what everyone can come up with. My challenge to you, Giant Bomb, is to create the best novel-inspired box art you can! Hamz and I will be judging your submissions.
Rules
- All work must be original; don't steal from any of the other people making art
- All work is due by Friday, February 27
- You can use whatever you want to make it, from paint to a pencil
- The design should be based on a commercially released game, so your homebrew title isn't acceptable
- You can submit up to two different works to be judged
- All work must be e-mailed to rondoofblood@hotmail.com, titled "Almighty Constest entry" Don't e-mail me ANYTHING else, or I won't look at it, as I won't notice it amidst the clutter (it's my spam account).
Guidelines
- Be creative! Use all the cognitive tools you have to make it rock
- Don't overdo the silhouettes; I've noticed this WAY too much in other works
- Making it look like a series of classic books is a great idea, either inspired by an existing series or coming up with one of your own. Just making it look like a book is ok, too.
- Try and make it connect to your game in a clever way, that is sure to win you brownie points.
- Have fun! The more fun you have, the better your work.

Notice how each one has an image not immediately meaningful to just anyone, but the meaning is undeniably present.
