Now I have to repost, dammit. For next week's Bombing Run, I believe that we will be playing Gears of War or GTA4 if there is more than 8 players that want to participate. We should probably get that organized. There could be a Bombing Run for the PS3 version as well as the 360 version of GTA and I'm assuming that BR also got a lot of attention after the beautifully wrote manifesto, so Gears might be out of the question.

Oh, and one other little suggestion from me. Shouldn't we think of a cool name for the giant bomb IRC? I mean, everything else has a cool name, "The community is still a threat", "Bombing run", "Bomb Should Have a Face", and "Lets play", yet the GB IRC is just called "Giant Bomb IRC".

Couldn't someone come up with a cool name for it like "Bomb should have a Chat" or "The Chat is still a threat" or "Chatting run". (OK, I suck at name suggestions, but someone must be able to come up with something).

And also, does anyone else find it ironic that I keep suggesting things to do with the IRC, but I've never actually used the GB IRC? I'm Weird.

It already was stickied, in General. To have it show up as a sticky in the Latest Threads feed, it has to be pinned to all boards. This is going to be sort of subject to change over time as the makeup of sticky threads on the different boards fluxuates.

Kudos to everybody who's made this possible. I shan't list names, because you know who you are (read as: "because I am lazy :P."). I hope this helps stuff like the IRC and Let's Play to really take off amongst the site's users.

I'll talk about more platforms when I make the Bombing Run post on Monday. Ideally, we want to get PS3 games and Wii games in the mix, as well as (if we can) multiple games across the same platform and a decent play time for European/UK players. It's all gonna depend on the community stepping up!
