Oh I really hope the PC version's announced soon! I don't have either of the other two consoles, so I REALLY hope it comes out soon.
If I remember correctly, the GTAIV console release date was in late April in 2008, and the PC release wasn't until December of that year. That's a six or seven month delay...not to say that's what will happen with GTAV, but it's probably a good estimate at least.
Have to say, the previews and chat about the games lighting were right. It looks outstanding from those blurry images alone. Compared to how gray and dull GTA 4 looked especially. God, bring on next Tuesday.
@mb: Yeah, I could wait 6 months to play it. It would be smart of them to release it somewhere closer to Christmas, though. I'm sure they'll get a buttload of PC sales then.
@machofantastico: I feel the same way, I want more leaks, but just of gameplay. Hope I don't encounter major story stuff. And when that happens, I'm done till Tuesday lol. But the leaks are only going to get more frequent.
@sheetsy77: Yeah, I'm going to be a lot more careful this weekend, I'm sure spoilers will be everywhere. To be fair I don't actually remember seeing a lot of gameplay footage of GTA 4 when that came out, maybe I'm forgetting but I remember first seeing gameplay in the Gamespot review I think. Though to be fair, I'm a hell of a lot more excited for GTA 5 and San Andreas in general as it was my favorite GTA.

I meant the map poster that he showed off. Maybe there's more on the other side??
I don't like looking at leaks, but I was so worried about the framerate that I had to check this stuff out. Now that my fears are assuaged I have to resist looking at this guy's profile anymore. Now I can fully devote my time to figuring out a way to sleep until Monday night.
I'm bit confused though, do the NPCs react when you run into them or not? In other videos that player ran into NPCs but they didn't react at all, but maybe that was cos they were mission related.
@heltom92: They introduced a separate push button in Red dead so my guess is they toned down the physics from 4 and took the NPC physics from red dead.
It's amazing to see it compared to GTA 4. Reminds me a lot of the GTA 3 vs GTA: San Andreas comparison. Clearly they've learnt a lot from Red Dead, which had some great looking environments.
