Jetpack found in the 1.12 patch

This is 100% real, anybody can go to that spot in the code and see it. This guy didn't add it himself. Looks like the jetpack is being added.

More stuff is

Either that whole chiliad mystery was just leading up to DLC, or they purposely kept it out of the game so we couldn't find it in the files, and as everything in the game is tracked they added it into a patch when people got close enough.

They've also added scripts for skiing.

I wish people wouldn't scour through code for games or leak game reveals, it ruins all the fun and mystery.

Sadly, as a man who injected every new GTA into his veins and beat the fuck out of most of those games time and time again, I still haven't beaten GTA V. Had it since release.

I really don't feel like flying jetpacks in that ultra pseudo-realistic Hollywood movie-game, I can imagine dying every 10 seconds flying that thing. Seriously, screw that stupid game.

Kinda depresses me how little I actually care... GTAV, while I would never go as far to say was a bad game or anything, didn't sit well with me overall. The ending in particular just left me feeling deflated and unsatisfied to say the least. And GTA Online is but a complete bore. They've done well in supporting it, but a lot of it is frankly too little too late.

That said, if they were to release some single-player DLC ala Episodes from Liberty City or Undead Nightmare, I would still be curious in seeing what they have planned.

If it's real I hope it's a rocket jump style jetpack instead of an infinite flight style one. Infinite flight ones tend to feel slower and aren't fun, but being able to jump super high super fast can get you into all sorts of fun with poorly planned landings. Trying to get somewhere in San Andreas with the 100ft bunny hop was way more fun than getting there with a jetpack.

The affinity people have for that jetpack from San Andreas continues to baffle me.

I just want some new single player content with some heists. Is that so much to ask Rockstar? As for the jetpack, it's funny but the chances of me using it more than once are pretty slim. I don't even use the special update cars they gave everybody.
