Gilded Hollow

"A monolithic cavern beneath the jungle that connects to the Forgotten City." "Jungle themed, feels like a ruined outpost underneath the jungle. It sits on top of a giant aquifer." Inspired by Hang Son Doong.

Owners of the Gilded Hollow can obtain Tenebrous-variant guild weapons, which are smoky and translucent.

Lost Precipice

"Lies in the Northwest on the border between the jungle and the Northern Maguuma Wastes, and is a refuge within a hidden canyon; complete with a river at the bottom that features a giant vertical space perfect for jumping and gliding."

Owners of the Lost Precipice can obtain Shimmering-variant guild weapons, which shine and ripple.

@jack_lafayette: Pretty happy you made this to be honest, because as guild leader I sure as hell was not going to do it. I voted LP because I live life on as many edges as I can (also I like the blue/grey/whatever weapons more).

Ouch about that formatting. I just about worked out which screens are from which. I also voted LP because it gave me a GW1 vibe, and those weapons look sweet.

@bollard: @shinboy630: Yeah, the Shimmering set looks pretty slick. Oddly enough, both sets do a decent job of evoking the Crystalline Sword from GW1 - translucency on one hand, texture sheen on the other.

@zombiepie Hey, is there any means of jumping into the first post and cleaning it up? I understand the need to make polls unalterable, but that shouldn't happen with no "Full Edit" option, correct? Or is this a clusterfuck that only modly powers may align?

I'm having a hard time differentiating the two, but I whichever one is more outside. The one with the waterfalls.

Also kind of blown away that they're adding "Guild Halls" to a game called "Guild Wars" 3 years later.

The guild hall should be in Purple Lotus Swamp.

I've updated post #2 with a few screens from the new HoT website. There's now shots of the Gilded Hollow's quarry and teleporter, plus a wide shot of and the workshop from Lost Precipice.

Launch is just over a day away, so we're wrapped! Lincoln Force will be acquiring the Lost Precipice hall after the expansion release.

Unfortunately, I've been too busy to add further relevant trivia to this thread, but anyone still looking for exhaustive coverage of guild halls and new guild features should look here.

Guess we ended up with Gilded Hollow, unless that's a temporary thing that's selected as default.
