I took an extended break from Hearthstone and logged in today on a whim. Turns out that was a good decision. The first part of the Naxxramas update is out today. It includes 3 Ai bosses to play against. It looms like you get a new card every time you beat one of them. As somebody who thinks the multiplayer in Hearthstone isn't great because of how limiting the meta game is I think this is pretty great. The boss decks are fun to play against and it's refreshing to play against original decks even if it is just an ai. The new cards seem pretty alright but I'm not good enough at theory crafting to get too deep into it. They're really gimmicky and focus on deathrattle effects. Wouldn't be surprised to see some new themed decks at the end of this. Of course this isn't all of the new content yet. 4 more parts will be releases, once each week and not for free. It's pretty enjoyable and will get me back into hearthstone for at least a little while.
Ps. The server stuff is a little wonky today. Occasionally things become super slow.
