Infamous: Second Son, what did you think?

Would rather it had been a new IP, but this is the next best thing.

At least it's not Cole, but yeah I would've liked to see these guys try something different.

I liked iNfamous. From the looks of the trailer now there is fire power. Which is fine by me.

Out of all the games shown, I think this would have to be the one I'm most interested in, and I only got about halfway through the first game and didn't play the others.

I wonder if co-op will be implemented? If so, I found the next best thing to a next-gen Crackdown.

I still don't understand, what does, 'Second Son,' mean? Second, Son. How many sons did he have? Is that a clone?

But furreals though. Cole had sexy-time with the black girl!! .. Or the white one.. . Right?.

I gotta say, that guy introducing the game with his paranoid "fight the man" shtick was uncomfortable to listen too.

That dude gave a kind of awesome introduction but outside of that I must say I'm looking forward to it.

I'm honestly surprised that we're getting a third Infamous on the PS4 given that Sony seems to cycle out IP with each new console (and when they do bring them back, do nothing to promote them, ala Sly Cooper).

Can't decide based on the trailer. Hope that they will release a gameplay trailer in the near future.

I'm just okay with inFamous series, not a big fan of it.

I don't particularly care about the game, but man, that presenter was the highlight of the show.

Another infamous game is always a good thing.

The dude from Sucker Punch scared me.

I'm glad that they aren't going with Cole or the same old powers again. My hope is that they take the core concepts of inFamous and take it some new directions (you know, evolve the series). But yeah, I loved inFamous 1 and 2 so I'm stoked.

I'm surprised that their doing another Infamous game. I really liked the second but I figured they'd end it there and work on a new I.P. I'm still excited to see how this turns out though.

Yeah, it really sounded like him. I’m playing FFXIII right now, and I had a weird “wait, is that Snow?” moment during that trailer.

Having loved the first two, more inFamous sounds great. If they make the game more urban and use the PS4 to make the crowd AI smart this could be quite a fun game.

Plus its a safer bet than a new IP to launch a new console with.

@blu3v3nom07: First Son may refer to the first group of people who caused all the problems in the first two games. Second Sons is probably them regrouping and starting their power program again.

@dvsshark: Oh... That explains so much. I played part 1 a long time ago. I gave it to my friend and told him I never wanted to see it again. (Ihad already got the platinum.) ~ And Part 2, I liked a lot and I still have it I guess. I don't remember anything about 'Sons in Part 2, though.. ~ But, Kay!

Looked pretty good. I really liked the infamous games but i thought they were done with it the way infamous ended. But it looks like there gonna evolve the series a little and go in another direction which is fine by me. Who doesn't like fire powers anyways?

I am absolutely on board to play more InFamous! Hopefully they'll do something interesting with the fiction.

'Troy Baker: The Videogame' seems like something I would happily play.

The guy who introduced the game sounded like the type of paranoid who wears tinfoil hats, I loved the way he was trying to stick it to "the man" when the company he works for develops games for a major corporation.

I am really excited. I am a huge fan of the inFamous games.

"I was pepper sprayed in college..." Forlorn look to the side, dramatic lighting; "Okay here's a video game."

Man that introduction was uncomfortable, heavy handed, and out of left field as fuck. Oh, yeah, I guess the game looks ok too.

I don't like the infamous franchise, I find it too 'Redbullish' if there is such a thing.

@mariachimacabre: Agreed. Obviously just a first look but they seemed very similar in appearance to Cole's moves. Even the fire tornado reminded me of cole's huge power move.

...it looked like (and will probably be) a prettier version of InFamous with fire power analogs to Cole's electricity ones. And Troy Baker.

See...smoke powers I could totally get behind. Seems like there are definitely fire elements but smoke powers is something I think could make for some super interesting gameplay. Whatever, I'm down for more InFamous either way.

Although the intense introduction, ostensibly focusing on how we're always being monitored, on a console that takes invasion of privacy to new and exciting heights, made me feel a bit sad for all of us.

They've officially referred to his powers as "smoke powers" I believe. Which is good, because it gives you a lot more opportunities for cooler abilities, whereas fire would mostly be a reskin of electricity, I think.

I wonder how they're going to handle inFAMOUS 2 in regards to choices. I'm assuming the good ending is canon but who knows.

Loved inFamous 1. Hated the shit out the story in inFamous 2, but thought the game was good. As of right now I'm excited for numero tres. I have no reason not to be.

• dude in the conference doing the intro was way way too intense for the dumb fun that is infamous and it's nonsense storyline

Fucking A! Absolutely adore both of the prior inFAMOUS games; inFAMOUS 2 in particular was my #2 for my 2011 GOTY list. Smoke powers sound pretty cool, too. I could imagine that they'll be able to import Cole's vampiric flight ability from Festival of Blood pretty easily with such a power.

Soooooooooooooo the trailer was all gameplay footage edited with a cinematic style. That's fucking crazy. I mean I don't see any reason why they would lie.
