I am looking for a story driven iphone game, preferably a good one. I got zenonia 2, but its not very story focused and that spiderman game kinda sucked. I need suggestions since there is no real presence in the gaming world to catalogue and follow developments in these games

Good luck dude. I haven't found one myself. Makes me glad I sold my iPhone.

I know next to nothing about Iphone games beyond angry birds. I know IGN covers Iphone games, maybe you should venture over there and cruise through their stuff.

I'm actually glad to see this topic. I've had some ideas for just such a thing. I might make that my next project after I wrap up my current one.

Of course that doesn't help you any.

Never found one and don't really care for finding one. I prefer playing long games on a proper handheld or console.

Well, there are some Choose-Your-Own-Adventure type games that I've found, but they are less game and more interactive book.

@super2j:  The Monkey Island games and Broken Sword are both on the iphone off the top of my head.  Both adventure games, so I suppose you'd consider that pretty heavily story driven.

Broken Sword is the best story-driven game on the iPhone that I have played.

The Mass Effect game isn't that bad, either. The story is even a bit better than the one in ME2. :P

I tried Chaos Rings ("tried" as in spent $12 bucks on that s**t) I didn't like the combat or the puzzles, and the story didn't hook me after 4 hours of playing.

That game "Spyder" is supposed to have story... but I haven't found it (the story) yet.

I'd recommend Year Walk, The Room, The Silent Age, Sowrds and Sworcery, the Layton game, the Deus Ex game and City of Secrets. Also some Telltale Games are on there, they're usually pretty good.

@fredddi43: Did they ever expand on The Silent Age? I remember at the end it said the guy was basically asking for donations and if he got enough he'd have a chance to make more of it, but I haven't checked back in on it. I liked it.

@nekroskop: @monetarydread: I have been here a long time and I do not know what a necro-thread is...but I can guess. Man, It has been a long time since I last owned an iphone....

The thread was three years old before someone decided to reply. I wasn't calling you out because you were the OP, I just figured that the question you were asking about didn't need to be answered anymore.

To be fair, there's some solid discussion value to be wrung from this thread.
