Pretty much as the title asks, I'm wondering why this game (and its other editions) are listed as having the vampire concept? As far as I recall, only Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 include Vamp.
Why is vampire concept listed?

@gwardinen: it's been a while but The Sorrow's camo drains enemies HP and heals you when you grab them from behind. Even if I'm right in my memory that's not quite a vampire, especially considering The Sorrow is a ghost/medium not a vampire

Oh man, I was just trying to remember which Metal Gear game has that. Thanks.

Wait why did they take it out of the HD version of the game? That kinda sucks...
@probablytuna: Probably because it was actually a different game on a different engine, which would have required them to port that "game" over just for the few minutes you play that little easter egg, so it wasn't worth the time and effort.

They also removed it from the 3DS port, presumably for the same reason.
@gwardinen: You're not missing much, it's pretty lame.
Oh man, the vampire dream sequence is not included in the HD Collection? That's really too bad, it was one of my favourite "what the fuck?" moments out of the entire series, when I accidentally stumbled upon it, and now that we have Metal Gear Scanlon, I was hoping Dan would find a way to goad Drew into finding it himself. A shame that it's not there. It's not worth playing the original PS2 version over though.
