I'm terrible at remembering movies that I watched let alone the names of them. Not my favourites of all time, but three movies I remember watching ALL the f-ing time as a kid are:
The Boondock Saints (cliche I know but I have liked this movie since it was released) "Me too... Hell, I'd go so far as to claim that my husband and I helped it become a cult classic. We were one of those people that were introducing it to EVERYONE we knew back before it was a big thing.
1. Boondock Saints
2. Gran Turino
3. LOTR Trilogy
The first three that come to mind are always Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Amelie and Chungking Express. Not in that order. They're interchangeable. I would also put Brazil and Big Trouble in Little China and many others into my "favorites" list, but those are three movies I like to watch every few months "just because."
@KaosAngel said:
" Daniel the Wizard Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 Manos: The Hands of Fate "I seriously need to check out Daniel the Wizard, apparently. I've never even heard of that movie.
It's so hard to pick 3.
Some off the top of my list are
Casablanca
The Third Man
North By Northwest
Shadow of a Doubt
Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Close Encounters
Dr. Strangelove
Fargo
LA Confidential
Citizen Kane
Goodfellas
Those are all movies that I could watch over, and over, and over again. I guess if I had to pick a top 3, it would be 1. The Third Man, 2: North By Northwest, 3: Close Encounters.
@Raymayne: Excellent choices.
I like a lot of different films so this is a really difficult question for me. My top three go like so, however:
- V for Vendetta
- Inception
- Crank
I could name a bunch of other films, but after some deliberation these are my top films. However I can promise that will change. V for Vendetta is a spectacular movie however: there is no doubt about that.
