8-4 Play

I'm just curious as to the connection of Giant Bomb to 8-4 Play. Can anybody clarify why Giant Bomb includes their podcast on the site? Thanks!

I believe that Patrick and Brad are friends that go way back with the guys at 8-4. It dosen't seem more complicated than that. And since 1Up became a part of UGO/IGN I guess they didn't had such a big connection with that network anymore and decided to move...or was forced to.

Patrick also worked with Mark MacDonald at 1up/EGM.

Since 1Up didn't want to have the podcast on their servers anymore Ginat Bomb stepped up. They are good friends. Lets not forget that Ryan is the current keeper of the couch, which belongs to Mark MacDonald.
