I got a text from a friend tonight that said that he's having an issue with a video of his on Youtube.I had never heard of this issue before,I was wondering if any of you have heard about or had such an issue and would know the solution.Below is the text:

"Hey man,I'm having issues with my video.I filmed it on the iPhone but for some reason it thinks I filmed it sideways. So when I put it on the computer it looks ok,but when I upload to Youtube it's 90 degrees sideways.Any advise?"

How do you flip it?

I'm just assuming he's on windows, so window live movie maker can do it. Also I don't upload YouTube videos or anything like that, this is just off the top of my head. Link.

Actually when I re-read your post my method seems about right. After hearing he uploaded a video that he recorded on his iPhone. It would automatically put it in landscape mode when it should be in portrait mode. What ever he's viewing it with probably rotated it for viewing purposes.
