I've been looking into buying some figurines, I guess they could be called statues, and I've been looking at different sites that sell various collectibles.  I'm not really familiar with whats what in this business so is there anyone who would know of reliable online stores?  Shipping in Canada?

Well, if you are ordering online, as long as they ship to Canada it shouldn't matter.  Just use an online money converter to see how much Canadian dollars you will be charged in comparison to the US (or Yen) amount listed.  There maybe extra shipping charges as well.  I don't know if I've ever gotten something shipped from a Canadian website, but I have ordered items from Hong Kong, Japanese & British websites and it all worked out fine.

But anyway, this website seems to be Canadian. http://www.kctoysshop.com/

Sideshow Collectibles is pricey, but they have some of the coolest stuff I've seen.

As a kind of related subject, for anyone that collects figures, how do you display the ones with balance issues?  I have a great many Lord of the Rings figures I'd like to display but can't get to balance.  Same goes for an Army of Darkness figure of Ash.
