Again!?!
DAMN! 5 XBOXs?! Just reinforces the fact that I'll never be buying one. PS3 for me, thank you very much.
Well, if I was in your position with that many broken, and potentially having to buy a new one, I'd be done. I LOVE my 360, but that's just ridiculous.
Wow. I thought they said they fixed the problem with the 360's? That's why Microsoft should stick to software and let companies like Dell, HP and others to build their 360's. That would be crazy.
Microsoft should start giving you free stuff. That was your 5th console? Damn.
I haven't had thet happen to me yet,but its bound to,I am on my 3rd xbox after having the first two RROD on me!But the last time I had a problem with the xbox was at least 2 years ago.I hope this beast keeps on running for a bit longer now.
Nice Vblog man, I noticed you are getting better at the whole thing.
Yeah I went through 2 xbox 360's and was on my third and it started to crap out so I sold it and got a PS3, and I have never had a problem with it yet and I`m going for almost a year now, so I`m very glad I made my choice.
Anyways hope to see your next blog sometime soon, great job.
If you have seen my recent blog, then you know how I feel about the X360's dependability.
As far as your stick is concerned:
The buttons are curved because that is the standard orientation for 6/8 button layouts on Japanese arcade cabinets.
The joystick clicks simply because it is a mechanical stick and not an optical stick.
ughh...that sucks bro...I was just talking to Shred right after this happened...my 360 has yet to go but, I feel as if its going to happen any day now...Sounds like a video card problem to me, but you should get the RROD for that one, since its a hardware failure. Good luck brother!
"Nice video and sorry about your Xbox. I'm still on my first system but I've gotten the RRoD once."We need to coin a term based on that. When 360s get a RRoD, but it's not permanent and just requires a reset. Maybe like RRoP (Red Ring of Pretend! or Red Ring of Psyche!) Or maybe like RRoLOL!
Oh, and dude. Sorry about your 360, and sorry I'm so inconsiderate that I responded to another dude before you in your own blog. Not to mention I didn't even watch your video. Nothing personal, though. I'm just a jerk. ;)
You are one of the unlucky ones who has gone through several Xbox 360s. I have gone through just 2 since I got mine in March 06, one was because of the AV Cable and got it replaced in the store but kept the hard drive and the other was the RROD, which I got fixed and haven't had a problem since (touches wood). I feel bad for you and I would do the same thing if I had constant problems. Its ridiculous though that after 3 years out, people are still having problems with it. It's a joke.
Dude a similar thing happened to me With Orange Box on my PS3. I was playing Ep2 and the system shut down. Aparantly the motherboard had a melt down or something. My PS3 was one month past warranty. Thats right, 13 months out of the box. The lesson I learned was, all hardware should be considered of poor quality, and buy the extended warranty.
