Any y'all live in San Francisco?

Hello.

My name's Dave. In a couple of weeks, I'm popping over to the US of A for two weeks. One of those weeks will be in San Francisco and I'll know a grand total of no one. If any of you live around that area and are willing to hang out THIS JERK.

Then let me know. I'll be there from the 13th to the 19th, and the only thing I really have planned would be seeing some band called "Milo Greene" on the 14th if I remember to buy tickets. Otherwise, I'm free. I hear good things about the Burritos y'all do.

Dude, Milo Greene is awesome! I saw them playing at my school about a year ago - many of their members are originally from my school (I think).

Yeah I was browsing gigs for when I was going to be there, and they came up. A couple of us have been listening to them in the office for the last few days non stop.

The burritos aren't great around here. Here are 2 recommendations for places where they're better than average: Vallarta on 24th and Briant, solid shrimp burritos. Chinos on 35th and Balboa, best in the city.

I'm from the UK, I don't think my idea of a burrito isn't even worth talking about ;)

Don't listen to the other guy, San Francisco has some amazing damn burritos. Also check out the piers, start at 23 and work your way down, I am sure you will find some interesting stuff. Personally I stay out of the city, not a fan of crowds, but it is worth checking out.

They don't say y'all in San Francisco.

Same here, except for Berkeley. Head down to Telegraph and you can always meet some strange people. Last time I was there I met these two teenage dudes carrying around some bags of garbage and eating food out of it. They weren't wearing shoes either.

There's a bar on Clement and 5th Ave called Dirty Trix that's never too crowded and the bartenders are generous with the portions. If you're going to be downtown, there are too many to mention. There's a nice one on Geary and I wanna say 3rd Ave called Buckshot, but there's this one bartender there that looks like he should be in an Anthrax cover band who doesn't seem to know that a whiskey/soda should contain whiskey. And it tends to get absolutely chock FULL of bro-douchebags on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights, but other times, it's fine.

I am in Vegas and this place is bananas. I just ate a Reuben sandwich. It was pretty great.
