Anyone find this really creepy...

Specifically what I'm talking about is "Slender-Man". He is only fictional but still, he is creepy as fuck.

Definition - "Slender Man is a mythical creature often depicted as being tall and thin, wearing a black suit with a white shirt and necktie, and having a blank face. He can stretch out or shorten his arms at will, and hides some kind of tentacle-like appendages on his back. He has inspired pictures, fictional stories (creepypastas) and videos."

He stalks children and as the story goes they are then reported as missing. He just has a eerie presence in my opinion.

I do really like the Slender Man mythos, although I don't find him quite that creepy now. I think you might like Marble Hornets, I really enjoy it.

I never heard of it until Minecraft made it a mob. They would creep me out more if they were dressed as hipsters.

Thank you for that! I enjoyed watching it, stopped at 9, and I want to keep going. Interesting, I always like the home movie, almost could be real type of horror.

I can understand people finding it creepy. Fortunately none of the internet nightmare fuel does anything for me. I think it all depends on the person, and to an extent, the environment you grew up in. Personally, being born and raised Roman-Catholic, disturbing religious imagery in an Exorcist film really gets to me. Even as an adult, after watching one of those films, it'll have me scared I'll see something in the bathroom mirror when I turn the light on.

Same here, I hate movies about exorcism and possession and stuff. Creeps me out! lol

Nowhere near as creepy as The Silence in Doctor Who.

I fucking love Slenderman. Anyone who's interested in him should look up "Marble Hornets", a youtube series that tells the story of a group of friends who Slenderman is stalking. In that vein, there's also "EverymanHYBRID".

The haunted Zelda game about Ben is probably the scariest thing i've seen on the internet. I love the concept of Slenderman, too bad it's been researched to death and lacks the mysterious element to him.

Slender Man does have an interesting design. He's not really creepy though, especially when it's pretty much common knowledge at this point that he's an entirely fictional creation - the 'urban legend' edge he had in his early days is gone.
