My problem is that my car thinks one of my doors is ajar when none of them actually are.  This leads to a series of crazy things going on in my car at once

  1. The light pannel above my head turns on and off thinking a door is open then closed then open again
  2. The car keeps unlocking the doors because it thinks a door is open
  3. My car keeps making a clicking sound to alert me that my door is open
It's driving me crazy.  Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
I'm driving a 99' Toyota Camry with ~140k miles on it.

Electrical problems. Probably grounding cables somewhere. Have someone whos good with car electronics go through the wires.
The thing that is supposed to signal that stuff might also be broken on one of the doors. But its impossible to know without going through the electronics of the car.

Perhaps it's time to trade it in for a better car, such as the new 2010 Chevrolet Aveo.
