Hello, I was wondering what breakfast counts as.
Everyone says its the most important meal of the day but I rarely wake up early enough to eat it.
But since I tend to stay up later as well, does that mean that my first meal can just count as breakfast?
This would kind of be like pushing the day back a little.
Anyone know much about breakfast?
Regular breakfast eaters are found to have lower rates of obesity, lower blood pressure, lower rates of diabetes etc.
This is largely due to the fact that breakfast get's your system going and brings blood sugar levels back up after a night of fasting. This prevents binges later on in the afternoon resulting in blood sugar spikes.
Either way I couldn't survive without breakfast. Need my eggs, fruit, grains and milk in the morning.
You don't really want small portions at breakfast, you want them at every other meal." Also, breakfast foods (not from Denny's, IHOP, etc.) tend to be more healthy and the portions smaller. "
Breakfast like a King, Dinner like a pauper.
" @Gahathat said:Most people don't do that though, since most people eat quick and small breakfasts (bowl of cereal, eggs and toast, etc.)" Also, breakfast foods (not from Denny's, IHOP, etc.) tend to be more healthy and the portions smaller. And it's "Dinner like a pauper."
Whatever you eat shortly after waking up, regardless of the time you woke up, is breakfast. Woke up at 8:00 A.M., ate at 8:15? Breakfast! Woke up at 7:00 P.M., ate at 7:30? Breakfast!
BREAKFAST!!!1!!!!!!2!!
