Just Tested for me. I'm not into anime or comic books.
Are You A Member of Any Other Whiskey Media Sites?
All of them, though Giant Bomb is the only one I ever really use. Content wise, I only watch stuff on Giant Bomb (with the exception of the occasional ComicVine video). I do have an anime list of animes I have watched on AnimeVice, and I plan on making a comic list of comics I own on ComicVine, but that is really it. I haven't gone to Tested since it launched.
I am just into games more, though I will use Tested in the future for my (few) technology needs. I was into comics pretty seriously when I was much younger, but don't pay attention to them anymore, and I don't like discussing anime with people usually.
Well I'm saying compared to all the things they do on giantbomb. The other sites seem very barren of content or personally." @trophyhunter: Are the sites garbage or the content type? If its the sites, love to hear why you think that. Obviously, I'm interested in your opinion here. "
I'm not trying to be mean, I just think giantbomb is miles and miles AND MILES above the other three. Which is pretty odd considering comicvine was first.
The sites are all wonderfully designed props to dave and you.
I stopped reading comics when I was 10.
While I am into gadgets, Tested is way too teccy for me.
Anime is the absolute worst thing humans have ever created. It needs to burn in hell.
" I've registered myself as a member to all of them just to support them.I did this, and i actually frequent them occasionally to see if there's anything I can contribute. Actually, Tested is a very cool site, I'm liking a lot of their content, as well as their advertisement for Spike Jonze's newest short film, I'm Here. I'm still holding out for a movie/tv show site... I'll keep dreaming :P
Anime Vice and Tested although Anime Vice really needs something to make it worth a trip to see. It's pretty barren by any standard, although I have respect for Gia and John's passion for the hobby. I'm only interested in anime and not manga (anymore) so maybe some of my comments reflect my limited interests. I guess one of the problems is that they can't show video of shows and of course discussions of fan-subs and "acquiring" new (even unlicensed) anime seems to be a no-no. Japanator (Destructoid sister site) has a weekly review of all the fan-subbed releases episode by episode called Annotated Anime. Maybe something like that would help drawn me to the site more instead of "this week in cosplay".
Tested is shaping up to be much better although I've never understood the focus cell phones get on tech sites. Do we really need to know about each and every model of phone as they are released? Once you have your phone, are you looking to know what you missed by buying when you did? Will you run out and replace it now that a new one has arrived? I guess it's a factor of the 24-hour news cycle which passes marketing off as news.
I'm a member of all the sites. Obviously I spend the most time here but Tested is now a big time waster of mine. I check Comic Vine and Anime Vice on occasion.
Nope, only for GiantBomb. However I do tend to check out tested.com quite regularly as they tend to have some interesting stuff on there.
I'm a member of Anime Vice, but I never use my account. I'm not that interested in anime. I don't have a Comic Vine account because I have absolutely no interest in comics. I am a member of Tested and have been posting with a reasonable frequency since it's launch (I think I'm up to about 50 posts now). It's not going to replace GB as the site I call home, but it's pretty awesome.
Tested here for me which I've really been enjoying as its made me much more knowledgeable about technology than I would have been in the past. I visit comicvine (but am not registered) for their encyclopedia or for the rare circumstances when I feel like reading a comic and want a reccomendation. As for Anime Vice, fuck anime. That the hentai forum is one of their most popular forums tells me everything I need to know about that site and its community not to mention the threads about lolicon full of people saying its a-ok which is something the staff seems to agree with so no.
