That's still just a rumor right? I mean, there hasn't been any official announcement that the 2010 Mustang will have 5.0, has there? I sure hope it's real though.

There are so many mustangs in my small town that it is incredible, so the possibility of more does not excite me. In fact, there are at least six on my street right now.

ford hasn't officially announced it in the mustang, but the engine is already made and going into the f150, and EVERYONE is pretty sure it will go in the mustang in 2011 or 2012.  plus there are some pretty reliable pictures of mustangs with 5.0 on the side, and the picture i posted above.

A little bit, the previous 5.0s were my favorite mustangs as well as the only mustangs that I like.

I remember a few years ago when Ford made the 5.0 Cammer, there was specualtion then that it would lead to them making a new 5.0 Mustang production model. Here are some pics of the Cammer engine and car:

.... I totally just paused the news of an important story to watch this video, because I've heard nothing of this glorious announcement.  This is true.  ...or is this truly the age of Mustang?  Whatever.
I not only was the proud owner of a redesigned 90's model (4.6) Mustang, my brother had an 80's 5.0, and my stepdad was an even prouder owner of the orignal '64 1/2 Mustang.

I did a quick search, and this is coming soon from what I saw (years varied).  Guess I might reconsider my prudishness about cost-expense.

1:18 was pretty awesome. is that just the way the hazard lights work? because if so thats totally awesome. btw, i like the new mustang this year. they made tiny tweaks to the last model that made it more like the way i wanted it to be in the first place.

@TwoOneFive:   That was the turn signal.

@Bloviator:  The new V6 is probably going to be faster than your old GT was.

You made me watch that again, bastard!  Sorry if I'm coming off a bit harsh.  It's New Years, and the beers are kicking in.  That roar of the engine is so iconic though.

It was funny when I was in college that people would comment on that sound;  mainly, dudes did.  Understandable, considering most guys knew more about engines than girls.  Girls usually just said something like, "Nice interior" and "Whoa!  That's loud!"

I love how they are getting back to this stuff despite all this recession business.  I know the car isn't for everyone.  I do like my options though.

5.0 liter, 32 valve, 410 hp. This is just the stats of the base GT model, and will be amped up for the Cobras, etc. I saw this thread, and considering my family owns a Ford dealership, I asked my father directly. Hope that helps.
