Baby Survives After Being Hit By A Train

A six month old baby in Melbourne Australia has survived, after the following horrific incident shown in the CCTV footage below... The video has just been released to news agencies with the mothers consent. She naturally doesn't want others to make the same mistake.

The baby didn't get hit by the train at all, it was that lucky. What a misleading thread title.

In my country there's a BIIIIG difference between getting hit by a train, and being fucking under a train not getting touched at all by said train that just totally wasn't even close to hitting

I found it really hard to watch that, I can imagine how distressed the mother is feeling. It must have been a very horrible feeling.

I'm surprised the mother didn't jump down there herself.

Look at the lady with the bag. She walks towards the pram slowly when its falling down on the tracks. Then she just walks away. And then when she sees that other people are running to get help she think "Oh maybe I should do something as well" so she starts walking with them. What the hell?

People saying that the baby wasn't hit by the train should read the article properly.

This happened not too far from my house. Its been playing on the news's all day.. But what people don't know is that this happens on a weekly basis but with people ending their own life.. but they just don't choose to show it on tv. Must say that baby and the mother were very lucky that day.

Man, I found it hard to breath through that.  What a truly horrible, but lucky accident.   
 
If you are not a parent, I think you fail to understand how quickly things can happen.  Turn your back and an infant disappears in a shop, turn your back and a child runs in front of a car.  The real problem in this one is that the camber of the station facilitated a stroller rolling off the platform.  It is a design fault.  On her part though, all strollers are fitted with brakes, so she should have engaged it whilst standing stationary. 
 
That poor lady will be suffering nightmares for years to come.

Intentionality (or lack of) makes no difference. Nothing hit the baby. The baby didn't die. A "miracle" is when something extraordinary occurs. I can always survive a non-collision.  This "news" lacks both importance and intrigue. "
