I was thinking about making a bacon sandwich I have fuck all groceries and I've been drinking so I can't drive. I was thinking some toast with maybe mayo and bacon between it. Pretty simple but is it a good time? Anyone try this?

Scrambled eggs go really well with bacon on a sandwich.
Definitely. Don't forget to add a dash of black pepper and ketchup, it'll do wonders on scrambled eggs. Though on toast, eggs sunny side-up drizzled with some Worcestershire sauce will make any breakfast. Bacon eaten seperately

American here. We definitely eat bacon sandwiches.
He lies. We eat sandwiches with Bacon in it. We never make it the main thing. No restaurant does that and I've seen no one do it. I've never done it. Maybe because I only cook thin bacon and make it really crunchy. It just wouldn't work in a sandwich without some other meat.
IDK, I don't like BLTs either...
I've, on many occasions, just made a whole shit ton of bacon (at various times of the day) and ate it. No bread, no toppings, nothing, just bacon and it was great. Granted other stuff to it would enhance it that much more but yea, your suggestion works just fine.
Also pork roll is where it's at IMO.

You must live in the worst part of the country. I've eaten plenty of bacon sandwiches at home and at diners.
I live in Wisconsin and have also never had or heard of a "Bacon sandwich" or any type of sandwich where the primary/only ingredient is bacon. The closest thing is a BLT, and I've had that countless number of times.

Add some peanut butter next time. No lie homie.
YES. That or brown sugar/syrup and bake for total awesome-ness.
I guess you're American, and thus have that shitty belly pork bacon? I wouldn't want that in a sandwich on it's own, but whatever. If you have yourself some proper back bacon then goddamn fry yourself an egg or two and have the best breakfast you can ever have. Runny yolks of course.
Just cut out the needless carbs and the gross mayo and just eat the bacon. It is slightly healthier.

British, so yup. Bacon - generally what you'd call 'Canadian bacon', but the streaky kind works - butter - there's pretty much no such thing as a sandwich without butter or fake butter here; it's almost as essential as, well, bread - and, for me, ketchup; I'm not a brown sauce man.
yeah I think OP made that sandwich by now, either that or he has died of starvation.
Brown sauce though, pretty good with "chips" or "fries" and stake sndwiches, I had it with pub food while on vacation and was prepared for it to be disgusting, as the name doesn't sound that apealing. Was pleasantly surprised though.
