Bitches (and Whores),

Netflix told me to watch it when I booted it up on the PS3 and just watched all of it.  It's really good, and really violent...insanely violent.  There's a lot of murdering and blood, and the gritty adult kind, not the joker kind of violence.

I think it's much better than the Gotham Knight one that came out before it, and check it out if you got the time (which you should).

I heard it came out earlier in the summer, so good on Netflix for getting it pretty quick compared to other stuff.

I also got a few more of the 1 free month of Netflix if some users are interested.

The only downside is that it's only an hour and fifteen minutes...it's over pretty quick.  Damn, someone should do a Batman animated movie for a good two hours, and have a more adult storyline.   Get that British guy who made Inception to do it, dunno how well he'd do a Batman animation but I got a safe bet he'd be alright.

Indeed, it was one of the better ones in the direct to DVD cartoons DC has been putting out. I hope they keep it adult and not dumb it down for kids.

Got it on blu-ray for like $8.00 when it came out at best buy. I think they marked the price wrong so I got a hell of a deal. Especially since it's pretty good.

You gotta admit the title does make it sounds quite a lot like a pornographic Batman spin-off.

It was good, but it wasn't my favorite DC animated movie...  I think im still shocked that Dean from Supernatural voiced Red hood lol  he does a great job lol

The time limit is so they can do a commercial broadcast later in about 90 minutes (even then they have to speed up the credits and maybe do a few cuts, 90 minutes of broadcast time means about 24 minutes for commercials.)

It's also *cough* on youtube. Or at least it was... not that I would have watched it illegally or anything. I don't remember it being all that violent, besides Todd getting crowbarred a bunch. Twas alright, nothing special in my opinion.

Yeah, but it kind of broke it for me because all I could think was "why is dean here?". Still, yay Jensen Ackles!

I loved it but Bender ruined the Joker for me. I also find it odd that Di Maggio did other voices too which (I'm pretty sure) leads to scenes where you hear him voicing two different characters.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, best Superhero straight to DVD cartoon movie.
