You know, because I'm in a pleasant sort of mood this evening. And because we're getting ready to cook this thing probably sometime tomorrow in preparation for Thanksgiving Indulging.

Fudge Pie

It's amazing. Warm Fudge Pie with cool Vanilla Ice Cream......

Gran's gonna kick your ass when she finds out about you giving away her recipe.

Grandma's fudge pie... there's a joke in there somewhere, I'm sure. Sugar and Corn Syrup, eh? Sounds delicious.

@TooWalrus:People don't use margarine? Since when? I have never used butter in anything. I hate the taste of it.

@crusader8463: Oh, do people still frequently use it? I thought that whole 'trans fat scare' pushed everyone (in the restaurant business anyway) back to using the real stuff. My mistake then.

Do you mind typing it out, I'm finding it hard to read. I'm really craving pie and I'm willing to try your recipe.

Fudge Pie

Melt 1 stick margarine and 3 squares baking chocolate

Beat 4 eggs until light, add 3 tablespoons white Karo syrup, 1.5 cups sugar, .25tsp salt, 1tsp vanilla, mix well and pour into cooled chocolate and margarine.

Pour in unbaked pie shell and bake at 350degrees for 25-30 minutes. use a 9in or 12in pan.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

@TooWalrus: You dirty, dirty boy.

@TooWalrus: "Does grandpa know everyone is getting a taste of grandma's pie?" Done and done.

@Matthew: A topless pie is an affront to God, but this sounds really good. Thanks for sharing it.

Seems easy enough. I might actaully make this sometime over break. Salted butter can substitute margarine here I assume?

We love you too Matt.

@Dany: Ummmm, I'd suppose. I live at high altitude, so I follow these directions to a T. But logically, yeah, butter should be a fine sub.

@whistlebottom: Typically I'd be right along there with you, peering down my nose at such an abomination......but this thing.....oman

@Liber: Whatever. I love everybody except you. You didn't teach me any swear words in 4 different languages. And Cdude, just because he's a douche.
