5. Pizza: The obligatory gamer’s food, it’s heavily customizable. Bacon, cheese, vegetables, sausage, pepperoni, you name it! You can get Pizza in all sorts of prices, and even have it delivered to your house. This food serves both yourself, and your best buddies. The only thing Pizza has going against itself is the horrible unhealthy content, as well as the grease. So eat with caution! The item is probably best eaten when your taking a small break between sessions. Make sure you have napkins.

4. Trail Mix: Not one that’s thought off too often. Like the Pizza, trail mix is whatever you make it. You can use M & M’s, Resse’s Pieces, crackers, raises, whatever. This food is basically a combination of anything your mind can think of. Trail Mix is typically clean, easy to eat, and can sit in a bowl to your side while you’re fragging noobs.

3. Cheese & Crackers: A dry food and not very filling, but the perfect snack. Cheese and Crackers is easy to make, and almost guaranteed to be around the house, it doesn’t smell bad to anyone, and wont make a mess. Best of all, it’s typically pretty healthy depending on what cheese you choose.

2. Milk Shake: Some will argue that this isn’t a food, but fuck off. Shake’s are typically inexpensive, convenient, and if you don’t finish em’ while gaming you can travel with them. The Milk Shake comes in dozens of flavors, and is awesome to have during the summer.

1. Sandwiches: Small, large, subs, toasted, cold, meat, vegetables, cooked, cheesy, you name it, sandwiches serve all. They go with any food accessories like chips, and are the perfect thing to eat for a snack, or dinner. Yes, this does include hamburgers.

I recommend fried chick-peas. Chips and spicy salsa are nice. There's this soda called Izze that's pretty delicious. Usually, I just fill up on several glasses of water.

Pizza is terrible for gaming, maybe eat it before, or after, but during, I mean I guess if you hate your controllers. I like pretzels, and twizlers they taste good and leave no residue.

Pizza's by far my favorite. You can eat 'em with one hand, not too many crums, not too much mess, and not as greasy as chips. Although, a bag of chips and a can of pop is always win.

How quintessentially English of you :)

I'm fond of a cuppa myself, when I have a game on pause it will usually be to make a cup of Tetley.

I'm all for the pizza for breaks between games when the guys are over, but usually I stick to cookies or something when gaming at the same time.

I can't eat anything while gaming. Makes your hands dirty, gets it on the controller/keyboard/mouse and that sucks. What I drink while gaming though is usually whatever I have at home, usually water.

Pizza's too hard to eat while gaming, it''s too big. You need something small and delicous .. like goldfish! Also, milkshakes? Hah I'm coming over your house  when do you have the time to make milkshakes lol.

+ 1,000 for cheese and crackers. I thought I was the only one. I like to add lunchmeat to my C&C, my most common gaming snack. I must look pretty funny shaving some cheese off of the block in between lives in TF2, but it is so tasty...

Anything slightly drink oriented is probably the best when playing video games. No real mess for the most part. Man, I'd love a milkshake.

Hamburgers ARE sandwiches, and Pizza is number 5. You obviouly didn't read it, so don't call a fail until you can start to pay more attention.

I never eat while playing games. Food gets in the way and just makes for greasing hands, and thus greasy controllers.

I usually drink a Diet Coke.

I dont know about the Trail mix, because when im done i always find powder all over my controller. Id say chips that don't have a ton of grease or cheese/cooler ranch/whatever on them are perfect, since they keep the mess down. Pizza only works when it doesn't drip grease everywhere.

Yes.

But as far as keeping your stuff grease free and such, nothing really beats some nice cold water.  Cookies are an alright food - not really greasy, and you don't have to worry about crumbs if you make'em small enough.

I usually just drink water when I'm playing games, then take a break about every 30 minutes to an hour for a smoke and a stretch.  You can't just sit around all day!!!  Blood clots, man!!!

Water, i don't like my controllers greasy or have to keep washing my hands every so often

when I game i never get hungry and tend not to eat.

alcoholic beverages are good if friends are over, once in awhile i consume pop while gaming, but it just doesn't provide enough hydration as water
if i am hungry or thirsty i just reach down and chug 2 liters of water. it's quick and food it too time consuming

A bucket of hot wings with ranch dip and about a dozen wet toweletes to prevent you from getting your controller greasy.
