Depends solely and completely on you and what you like. How about a list?
Music is incredibly subjective. One man's migraine is another man's theme song.

Id say something like Explosions In The Sky, Do Make Say Think, You.May.Die.In.The.Desert, and From Monument To Masses might do the trick. Maybe even some of the early M83 or American Football.
Burzum would usually seem like a strange suggestion, but Illa Tiðandi is a great relaxing piece of music and it's repetitive and long, but most importantly, no lyrics. The rest of Dauði Baldrs is pretty good too.
Dubstep or trance. I listen to stuff without vocals when I need to do marathon study sessions because the music starts to blend together, where if it had vocals then I could tell individual songs apart. It works quite well, especially if the album has good transitions between songs so you don't notice the song change as much.

Sigur Ros
As a couple of people already said, Sigur Ros.
I'd also recommend Radiohead's last couple of albums (king of limbs and in rainbows) as they are pretty relaxing and easy to zone out to.
"Higher" education? Oh, I get it. You're doing the "joint ops".
Check out Robot Science for some chill chiptune music
