So I had a "debate" with my friend over this. I believe Whopper is waaaay better than BIg Mac. I like the artificial grill flavor. But my friend says Big Mac sauce is incomparably better. So I turn to you guys!! What do you guys think? Which one is better?
Big Mac or Whopper?
Big Mac, but that might be a lot of my childhood talking. I don't eat either though since they're a rip-off. Dollar Menu all the way!
This man speaks truth. Amen!Fuck all those places. Carl's Jr. is the best (though In & Out is equally the best! YES BOTH).
Edit for Super Star with Cheese or Double Double with onions and cheese.
I don't think I've ever had a Big Mac (the extra bun seems excessive), so I guess Whopper. Really though, Wendy's.
I'll take the Baconator over a Big Mac or Whopper anyday. I don't even like Whoppers to the point that if someone gave me one I wouldn't eat it.
As far as fast food burgers go, I think Carls Jr. is definately the best. Western Bacon Cheeseburgers are amazing (they're huge, and there is a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger!). If it's down to Big Mac vs. Whopper though, it's Big Mac all the way.
Nothing compares to home made though. I use a mix of 2/3 lean ground beef and 1/3 breakfast sausage in my patties, top them with sharp cheddar, diced white onion and light bbq sauce (mostly to get the onions to stick) and served on a sliced sourdough roll with shallot butter. They're incredible.

I prefer the meat on the Whopper, but Big Macs are overall better tasting I think. Burger King's burgers are just too dry to fully enjoy.
The only thing that has any distinct taste in McDonalds burgers is the sauce so I have no idea what your talking about. Dry? I've had a couple (one just last week) dry burgers at McDonalds (not to mention them being grey slabs of 'unspecified animal product') While BK has really flavorful grilled pieces of meat with a surface that looks like it has actually been introduced to heat, good sauces and a surprising amount of fresh salad and big tomato slices something which I find McDonalds lacks.
I really wish people would stop putting in extra options in polls. The thread title is about big macs and whoppers, and yet theres 2 other options to pick from. I'd rather see results for which one of the two is better, not a stupid third choice
Big Mac isn't even the best burger at Mickey D's.
Whopper all day, every day, and twice on Wednesday's.
Whopper all the way bro. No cheese. Extra pickle. Extra mayo. Side of small fries, large onion rings and Fanta orange softdrink.
Was never a fan of the Whooper, I love me a Wendy's Baconator but it's one of those things I only want from time to time and I don't really care for anything on the KFC menu. So I voted Big Mac as I just ate one after work today and can consistently eat them more so then the other choices. But as a if I could only eat one for the rest of my life sort of deal, I would go with the Wendy's Baconator.

I'm 20 and I've never eaten a Big Mac
I've never had a Big Mac either...
of the poll choices, Wendy's is the best and I used to love it when I did fast food, but fast food burgers overall I think Five guys is the king now.
Wendy's takes it for me, meat is better, toppings are better and I like the even like the way it comes apart after 2 bites. Big Mac has the edge on sauce, not a huge Whopper fan.
A couple friends and I went to a burger king once around the time the new King Kong movie came out. When we pulled up to order we discovered that Burger King was doing a promotion where they were offering a triple whopper or ' The Kong Burger'.
Kong. Burger. When it finally came time for me to order I was only able get out the words "Hi, I'd like the Kong bu" before the entire car erupted in hysterical laughter. I tried to in vain complete my order but I was laughing so hard I couldn't even utter the words and eventually my buddy who was driving simply had to drive away in embarrassment. We left without even pulling up to pay or get our food.
One of the dumbest and inexplicably funniest moments of my life.
Between the mac and the whop, I'll definitely go with the whop but I actually prefer BK's $menu bacon burgers, those things are like crack lol.
I don't see why I would want either. Both are shit and not even real burgers. The poll is missing an option for real food.
On the subject of dry burgers, you are both right. It just depends on how long the burgers have been sitting in the hot box. Both are equally "juicy" straight out of the "broiler" but the the time they spend in the hot box will eventually cause them to to lose all 24 percents of fat they stuff inside it.
