Books your currently reading.
Aside from comic books/manga lol
I'm currently reading the Guild Wars novels...they're blah, but I'm hoping you'll get a bonus for reading them in Guild Wars 2 :D
Blech. I thought it was mind-blowing back in 7th grade, now I just find it incredibly boring as a senior in college.
I'm currently reading Benjamin Franklin's autobiography, which is both interesting and hilarious. Not just saying that because I'm a history education major, either. I highly recommend it. You can pick up a copy for $5 or less and it's a pretty quick read.
I'm also reading Derrick Jensen's "Endgame Vol. 1: The Problem of Civilization." It argues that civilization is unsustainable and self-destructive. I don't agree with all of his premises or all of his arguments, but it's interesting.
I just finished reading a biography of Richard J. Daley for my History of Chicago class (written by the professor, which made writing the book review interesting), which was alright. A little biased in its presentation.
I can't wait for my papers and projects to get finished-I want to start Stephen King's "On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft" soon.
Just finished The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack- it was a well-written book, and the first half was great. Around the fifty percent mark, however, there was a reveal that almost broke the book for me, and the rest of the book kind felt kind of stunted thereafter. Still a great read though, I still highly recommend it.
"Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown.
Alright, it looks like I'm going with Bitter Seeds.
According to the books synopsis and various sources on the Internet, this book is about British warlocks who fight German supermen during the World War.
Hopefully, it's as awesome as it sounds. So far the book is well-written, and it looks like the book was, for the most part, well received.
" Reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Loving it. Next up is Stephen King - either The Stand or Black House.I'm not him, but I read it a while back: It's pretty good. I enjoyed the characters, especially the main character and wireman, it gets worse when the supernatural stuff come up though.@theshadow027: How's Duma Key?"
I just finished Dawn of Empire, which is a fast pulp read about a one time barbarian horseman adpting civilization to fight an early Bronze Age battle. Fun and not too worried about feeling historic, yet one of the few fast fun reads I've had in a long time.
Starting on Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy.

I guess you liked the ending then. I really didn't like how they ended things with Logan when he returned. Not to mention Bayaz's role." Recently finished Last Argument of Kings By Joe Abercrombie. I always seem to go into some kind of depression after having finished a series of books. (I never want them to end! ;_;) This had a great deal of closure while still leaving enough left for future works. Loved it! "
I am reading Mr. Nice: An Autobiography by Howard Marks. I am not sure whether to believe the stories about his awesome life or to take everything with a grain of salt.
I'm taking a break on Great Expectations and am nearly done with Stephen King's first Dark Tower installment, The Gunslinger. I want to read some Steinbeck and Death by Black Hole next.
FABLES: Rose Red.
Just recently finished A Mercy by Toni Morrison for my American Literature class.
Heather Maxwell Chandler's Game Production Handbook, second edition. ...Only I could read a textbook style book for fun.
"Death from Above"
I bought it off of Amazon after Gary Whitta mentioned it on a Tested Podcast. I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
