I read this in this newspaper and it showed you how much she ate and drunk a day and it was something like over 10,000 calories a day I think it was more than that though she was having something like 4 litres of milk or Coca-Cola, 2 portions of chips, 20 or more chocolate biscuits, 6 packets of crisps, a huge chocolate cake, and more... In fact the girl had to spend a lot of her life helping her mother, so she didn't have a chance for a social life. Food was probably her coping mechanism.
Everyone has their problems, and belittling someone else for their specific problems is just plain asinine. Sometimes there are other factors that can lead to weight gain, like stress, and yes, sometimes weight gain can be caused by uncontrollable circumstances.
I have a friend who is currently struggling with a drug addiction. Is it his fault that he's like this? Maybe, but that doesn't mean I can't help and support him. And trust me, denigrating someone for their problems DOES NOT HELP AT ALL.
I feel bad for her too. People seem to overlook that a lot of these people are fat from childhood, and young children just don't have the sensibility most of the time to say, "I need to eat healthy so I don't get over weight!" I know I didn't, thankfully my parents were there to make sure I ate a lot of vegetables and not so many cookies.
You could argue that now she is old enough to know to stop eating, but it's hard to quit something you've been doing as long as you can remember. Her eating like this is part of her life and part of who she is. It usually takes something very drastic to change someone's mindset in such a situation.
