Now I'm new to the PC gaming market and also pretty broke. A few months back I purchased a GPU and a PSU( Radeon HD 6850 and Corsair CX 500) and I've experienced a kick in performance but now I need more since I recently purchased Guild Wars 2. PvE my FPS is around 25-45 depending on the area. WvW is just a no go.

So I was looking for a CPU mostly and maybe more RAM. My Motherboard is a Foxconn 2A29 Model 1.01. By doing research(http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/foxconn-2a92-mainboard-specs-742010h517p/ and youtube)

I've come to the decision of purchasing this CPU http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005U9ER3C/ref=gno_cart_title_1 Since it seems to be the "best" one and its reasonably priced.

Also I have 4GB Ram...

What do you guys think? Any suggestions? And Right now I'm not looking for a new GPU because I just got this one and it runs games fine on med. I'll be looking into one after Christmas tho.

If you're broke then shouldn't a 6850 be fine until you've gotten yourself un-broke for a little while? Doesn't Guild Wars 2 also run fine on Medium?

a pentium quad core 2.4 or higher will do also since youre on a budget, and pc gaming wise 4 gigs of ram is all you need, you dont get the most out of your gpu by like you said having a slow cpu

btw i also have an ASUS HD6850 and it runs everything on highest, i can even overclock it with the asus tool so youre fine for atleast next year summer..so its certainly not the video cart.

Did I miss where you say what your current CPU is? Unless it is really old I would doubt CPU or RAM is going to boost your frame rate much.
