I'm looking for a new media program to store and list my music in a way that's easy to rate and group them into sections. I am currently using itunes which does everything i want but its a system hog and when ever i want to listen to music I'm almost always in a game. I dont want or need any store, syncing special features of any kind just a bare bones simple program that will sort by song name, artist, album and have a way to rate the songs so i can quickly tell what songs are the ones i really really like and not just the ones i like. Help me Giant Bomb community, your my only hope.

I use Zune. The new 4.0 is nothing too new, but it totally is new. It generally doesnt use too much power if it isn't the top window on your desktop.

iTunes has worked out alright for me in the past too.

I think the iTunes rating system runs a little better, but Zune's new quickplay menu is nice for those playlists/artists i generally gravitate toward more.

I use the Zune's software because I got a Zune, but for the most part go with WinAmp. Probably the best for me and low spec. computers. I got a new computer, but I really like Winamp because of its myriad? amount of skins and playing custom files. If anybody listens to .USF files like me... 0_o.
