Because of an active lawsuit between CBS and Dish Network, CBS got pissy with CNET, who they own, for nominating a Dish product with one of its CES awards.

Dish CEO Joe Clayton accused CBS of censorship and "heavy-handed tactics" in a press statement, writing that the company was "saddened by CNET's staff being denied its editorial independence.

Not the first time CBS have pulled a stunt like this, eh?

Dish Network are larger assholes more of the time than CBS is, so while this is uncool, it's not the end of the world.

Cable is bs with the prices and offerings but I can't stand how Dish lies and contracts are so 1998.

Guys, guys. Guys. Seriously, guys.

Buy a fucking Roku. It is the best $80 I've spent in a long time.

Didn't we have a similar thread not too long ago about this very same situation?

I, for one, love CBS and all of their intellectual properties. I would never dream of skipping any commercials during my weekly viewing of such smash hits shows as Two and a Half Men and Hawaii Five-O.

pretty much. I have a PS3 in my living room and I still bought a second Roku for my Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Video watching, because I like the interface way better.

It can get bigger. Stronger and more estranged from the grain of growth in business that it was assumed to be.

I thought this was going to be about how they are letting viewers vote on who this week's bad guy is in Hawaii Five-O.
