Lol, well then I really dont get the mix up. Such different humor styles and personalities. Lol if you know he was in Soap you have to have a good understanding of him as well. Remember Billy Crystal is a nice guy. Bill Murray is kinda a dick.

I love both Bills in different ways, but the example you gave is what elevates Murray to the realm of comedy genius.

there's some character actor out there i always get mixed up with another actor. but naturally i can't remember their names.

i think it's the guy from independance day that i mix up with someone else. i guess i wouldn't really call him a character actor though. meh.

I don't get them mixed up, but MC Ride from Death Grips and James Harden from the Oklahoma City Thunder/Houston Rockets look real similar.

I always thought that Kevin Costner was an older Dennis Quaid. I didn't even know Dennis Quaid existed; whenever I would see him in movie roles, I just assumed --since they were older movies-- that it was a younger Kevin Costner.

I don't necessarily get them confused, but it did take me a few months to figure out who it was that Kotaku's Stephen Totilo reminded me of.

I get Patrick Wilson and Cole Hauser confused because they look almost exactly alike. If I'm not aware one of them is in a movie until I watch it, then I'm usually wondering the whole time which it is.

Dennis Quaid and Harrison Ford. I don't know why.

Quentin Tarantino and Roger Federer.

Seriously, for a long time i thought I was watching the latter in Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

Kate Winslet and Kate Blanchett, because I've seen very little of either of their work, their names have several syllables in common, and they don't look that different.

Bill Pullman and Bill Paxton. I think Paxton is in Twister...

Russel Crowe and Gerard Butler. I know what Russel Crowe looks like, but I can never remember who was in which movie.

I used to get Danny McBride and Rob Wells from Trailer Park Boys mixed up all the time.

Ellen Page and every other white girl ever.

Gary Sinise and Liev Schreiber. I can't be the only person that's mixed them up at least once.

I'm sure I mix up some others too, but the first one I thought of is Michael C. Hall and Anthony Michael Hall. As you might guess, this is a problem I have mixing up their names not their faces.
