All of these new developers are going to hell. they can't understand the simplest rule of their profession, that s, Video games are for challenging the game player in a virtual world, not to make him enjoy.
For example, Some new games that allow Regenerative health, Barricade, and also an undying protagonist. what's challenging in it? blowing the enemy's head? defeating and then executing him by jumping on his testicle and kicking his head off? a radio with a freaking coordinator who's speaking with army terms? Auto aiming?
Of course they're not challenging. Challenges in a video game are searching for a health pack, looking for ways of killing enemies and avoiding they're attention, shooting faster that enemy so you won't need to find a cover or hiding behind barricades by yourself... don't you agree?

I disagree. While it does change gameplay quite a bit, the ideas are to streamline the gameplay, to allow the player to gather himself and continue. Some people like you may not agree, and nobody's decided any of the systems are perfect.

Some people like you may not agree, and nobody's decided any of the systems are perfect."To Gather himself and continue what? game or an interactive movie? for example Bioshock, although with its amazing Story it was very poor at challenging player. if when you die, you will respawn in nearest chamber, without respwning enemies, so why would you care about combat? why would you care about the "Game" ascept of that media? the only difference of a movie and a game like bioshok is that in bioshock, you waste more time.
