Yesterday Moonscoop announced that they are making a fifth season to the greatest animated series ever, Code Lyoko! It's called Code Lyoko: Evolution, and it should come out next year (2012). Now they just need to launch a new official forum and release the first four seasons on DVD & Blu-Ray! For those of you who dont' know, Code Lyoko is an amazing animated series that aired in the early-mid 2000s and the story revolves around a group of teenagers who travel to a virtual reality to defeat an artificial intelligence that attempts to kill all humans and control the planet.

Check it out, they even changed the official website to display an awesome new picture for Evolution:

I was really into this show for a stretch. It's nice they're making more of it.

I never really got into the show.  Just thought it was a wanna be anime, like Avatar.

Code Lyoko is a lot of things, but it is most definitely not "the greatest animated series ever."

No it is not, Code Lyoko has done absolutely nothing to push the medium of animation forward. It's filler, and it was never going to be anything more than that.

Plus I associate it with Miguzi which is pretty much the cartoon equivalent of the anti-christ.

I think this would be better in Anime Vice, you might get more of a positive opinion over there. I dont know much about anime but i would say "Ghost in the Shell" was one of the best anime(s) evar!

I though the core concept of this show was pretty cool.... But now thinking about it, the show doesn't make any damn sense.

It ran for four seasons, had three movies announced, is going to air for a fifth season, three video games, an official art book, and dozens of online forums dedicated to discussing it. And you didn't think anyone liked it?

This is the first I've heard about the movies. Hell, I didn't know that it was still airing. Sorry, that I'm not in the know.

My favorite story arc for One Piece is the CP9 (Water 7/Eneis Lobby) arc.  It focuses on Robin Nico.  It runs from episode 227 to around 320 something, so yeah it's a long arc but well worth the effort.   I recently finished the White Beard Pirates arc and it was good, too although I think a bit too long, especially the second half.  I think after the current arc, the two-year break is going to happen.  I don't know anymore than that.

I liked Code Lyoco some, but I never really got into it.  I could never really figure out what was going on and why everyone was doing whatever they were doing.  I'm ashamed to say this but I think I got a bigger kick out of Winx Club even though that one was completely bizarre.  It reminded me of Sailor Moon or Jem and the Holograms.

Wow lots of One piece lovers here. Maybe I need to go to anime vice and make a thread. Ill start up again. Any chance you know what episode I am looking for? Where they arrive at the strange gravity island

@The_Laughing_Man:   The One Piece Skypia story arc begins in earnest at episode 152 where they ride the "Knock Up" stream skyward.  This might be spoiler but...

Im at the part where they have left the Navy base which they landed in. Im at the one where they are at an island with Long animals because of funky gravity and meet a dude on bamboo stilts.

@The_Laughing_Man:   I think you left off on episode 207.  They arrive at the Long Long Island and there are stretched out animals and trees around.  Luffy, Usopp and Chopper go off to investigate and meet a guy on stilts and his long legged horse.  Nami, Robin, Sanji and Zoro meet another group of pirates looking to fight.
