Went and saw Deep Purple yesterday, my 2nd ever concert. What is it about concerts that are so fucking amazing? I mean, it's indescribably awesome.

But, when Ian Paice and Steve Morse were throwing drumsticks and guitar picks, I always have some mob of doom in my way, dammit.

But I had an amazing time yesterday, concerts are just simply kickass, even the other band before them (Gotthard) were pretty good stuff!

Deep Purple FTW!!!

I was pissed to find out that while I was working last night, He Is Legend was playing seven buildings down...and I wasn't there.

Deep Purple . . . noice . . .

Without Blackmore, though, it isn't quite Deep Purple.

Deep Purple is still around and touring? How many original members are still alive?

@ParanoidFreak: The only original members in the band are Ian Gillian (The singer, and he still sings pretty damn well, if not looking that lively anymore:P), Ian Paice (Drummer, who still kicks ass), and the bassist is the original, but I forgot his name, shame on me:(.

The keyboardist is not Jon Lord, yet he is still a freaken insane keyboardist, and Steve Morse replaced Ritchie Blackmore, and he can really shred.

So yeah, that should cover that.

@Arkthemaniac: Yeah, but it still was awesome:D.

Haha it's always amazing seeing your favourite band playing the songs you love.

Do you know what I reckon must be more awesome though? Being on stage playing your songs to a bunch of people who love you.

@Get2Sammyb: The feeling is amazing, done it before:). (it was me playing a medley of riffs to an audience at school)
