could batman beat superman???

I think batman could never beat superman, no matter how much cooler batman is compared to superman. But lets say we throw in another hero(videogame variety). Who would tip the battle towards batman. 
II think kratos at full power could do some dammage. And both are angry and dark, sooo win win.

Superman is pretty much invincible and Batman is mortal.  The only way Batman could beat Superman is with Kryptonite.  But Batman is much cooler than Superman because he is mortal.

well assuming batman doesnt have any kryptonite. i dont think batman could do it without kryptonite right.

superman is meant to be the almost all powerful super hero, but with one weakness. he has all of the basic super powers. honestly I think realistically batman could easily beat superman. kryptonite bat suit, simple as that :P then superman couldnt 
even touch him, but if I had to pick another super hero it would be the silver surfer, but thats also over kill considering his power comes from the sun, the more sun he gets the more powerful he is (seattle would be a bad place for him :P)

The problem with Batman vs Superman is that no matter who wins, it's a totally one sided fight. Basically, either Batman's got kryptonite and Superman is reduced to tears within seconds, or Batman doesn't have kryptonite / Superman came prepared with a suit like when he fought Metallo or something and he kicks Batman's ass.

no, i don't think batman can beat superman. the only weakness superman has is kycriptonight. batman has a weakness as he is human in a costume. superman can fly faster then a speeding bullet, stronger then a train (something like that).  batman would have to fly up into space to get superman's weakness. i would think superman would break batman's ship while he was heading there.

As far as I know, anytime they have gone head to head, Batman wins. Every time. Anyone read 'Red Son'? It's an alternate universe thing where Superman grows up in the USSR instead of the US. It's pretty cool, but Batman in that story is also Russian and is FUCKING AWESOME. 

Realistically no, the only way people can really beat Superman besides Kryptonite is because he is really nice and holds back punches. Batman less so.

I don't think people are reading the thread title properly. It is simply asking if Batman could indeed defeat Superman in a fight. This has already happened on multiple occasions. It is not asking if Batman could defeat Superman without Kryptonite or anything like that.

If batman really wanted to he could probably lure superman into some kind of kryptonite trap. But then Superman could probably dress up like a common thug and keep snatching woman's purses till batman shows up and gets surprised when he tries to punch Superman, but gets his arm ripped off instead. I guess it all comes down to who has the element of surprise. Hell, I could kick the shit out of Brock Lesner if I shot him with a tranquilizer dart and chained him to a wall.

Batman can beat Superman, he almost did in Superman the animated series, season 2 episode 15-17, he pulled some kryptonite on him and got him down his knees, and he also learned Superman's identity. Batman is a pretty sneaky dude.

 
If both were put on somewhere Batman had no tech, plan or ring and Superman did not have the yellow sun which is where he gets his powers from then it comes down to combat skill and Batman would win.
