Which countries have you have gone before?
I've been to:
Quite a few -- roughly in order:
England (born here)
The Netherlands (lived here since I was 2)
GLORIOUS NIPPON (no really, I wanna live here someday -- my visit to Japan was probably the most amazing experience in my life)
Next on my list is India and I hope to travel all the way to Cape Town, South Africa overland someday along the Western African coast. I'd like to do the same for China while going through the Middle-East but now isn't really the right time.
Small list for me I'm afraid. Excluding my birth country Engerland theres; Wales, France, Spain, Italy, Cyprus and the States that are United on the Americas. Really hoping to go to Japan next year, and then hopefully after that do the JET Programme or something.
Germany, Holland, UK, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong + China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam.
(Bold countries are where i've lived, Italics where I live now)
I've been extremely fortunate, but growing up as an expat is a strange thing.
Sweden (citizen), USA (citizen), Norway, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, UK, France, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, Greece, Malta, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, India, Tunisia, South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile. Can't think of any more.
From the USA: only to Canada, and only Ontario at that. Nowadays, we have to have a passport just to see the 'good side' of Niagara Falls, and I won't spend the $75 and mail my birth cert to the government just to have one. I've been south to San Antonio, so almost got to Mejico.
I have also briefly been in Germany and the Netherlands while traveling, though it's hard to really count those since all I ever saw was either through a train window or the airport in Amsterdam.
