Just as the title says, the great character actor Dennis Farina has passed away at the ripe old age of 69. I always liked him in everything I saw him in, especially Snatch and Law & Order. Link to the story:
Dennis Farina passed away.
He played the role of the 'flexible' mobster with a sense of humor very well, I enjoyed the couple of roles I've seen him play (in Get Shorty and Snatch, mostly).
RIP!
Aww, I'll have to watch Goodfellas, Get Shorty, and Snatch in his honor. Now get your fucking shinebox.

That was Frank Vincent ( Phil Leotardo ). Funny enough I know this, because I lost a bet about it like two weeks ago
@radekv123: Oh interesting, still going to watch Goodfellas though.

As you should. Now get your fucking shinebox.
I liked him as a nice addition to Law and Order after Orbach (Lenny) died. It got kinda ridiculous between him and Jesse Martin watching them change suits multiple times during their day of detective work. It was like they were trying to outdue the other with the sharpest 3 piece suit and trenchcoat.
Great actor. Will be truly missed.
One of those guys you don't know the name or his roles, but just recognize his face, he was a good actor most likely. RIP
When I read the name I was like "who the hell is that" saw the image and was bummed.
Charismatic actor, for sure.
He was awesome in Get Shorty.
Yup. Kinda eerie that now both him and Gandolfini have passed away, both supporting characters of Get Shorty. And yet Gene Hackman at 83 keeps on truckin' :P
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Gene Hackman just punches his chest when his heart is acting up and goes "If you stop now, I will revive myself and make your life hell on earth".
I like my version Gene Hackman the best.
