Did the Screened ROKU channel go away?

Mine hasn't updated in months and I really dug it.

Anyone know whats going on with that?

Didn't Screened die?

As far as I know, Screened hasn't had a new video since @Rorie left in March. Sad stuff. He really did make that site what it was.

Rorie and Alex left. Screened doesn't make videos or podcasts anymore. The place is dead and its a damn shame.

Still mourning the loss of Screened. Tested's still making interesting videos though... kinda wish they would get their Roku channel going again.

Tested is better than ever in terms of content.

I've stopped going to Screened though, I only went for Rorie's video features :|

Too soon, man. Just... the wounds are still fresh.

I still go to Screened from time-to-time, but the content since last March has been only articles. Also, their sister site Anime Vice has had more new video content than Screened ever since then. Now that I look at it, I feel sorry for Screened now. :(

But visiting Anime Vice means you have to deal with Tom Pinchuk, whose articles were always so riddled with typos and so often easy to write "top 10 [something]" lists that it drove me away from Screened and Anime Vice. I used to play a mental game called Spot the Pinchuk. I'd open an article without noting the author and always know it was a Pinchuk piece from the first clunky sentence.

I've never loathed someone's writing more than I loathe Pinchuk's writing. Good riddance.

I miss Screened. I used to be a frequent user of the site but now I don't go on at all. After Rorie left most of the users left and the site just sorta fell apart. Screened was an amazing site but now it's just a shell of it's former self. Before the BermanBraun acquisition I never really visited Tested but now I do all the time. It's always been a good site but now it's ten times better. All the sites are doing well except for Screened because BermanBraun doesn't care about it.

I mourn Screened on these forums every chance I get.

I miss screened. Screened should have went to CBSi with GB and Comic Vine. Rorie got screwed IMO.

I miss Screened, I wished they stop using the old Whiskey media UI. Tested is not bad site. Norm and Will are still there. Gary makes appearances when he can and Brad showed up on last week's podcast. The untitled videos with Adam Savage are interesting. I don't care for Anime Vice. Hopefully after the site redesign, Giant Bomb can work on the mobile site. Seeing the Tested and Screened logos when I use my phone gets a little depressing.

So speaking of screened, when is Giant Bomb going to hire Matt?

I believe BermanBraun has some pretty big plans for Screened, but I'm not really up on what those might be in particular. I have a feeling the next couple of months will be interesting for it, though; they didn't buy it just to ignore it. I wish I could find a job as fulfilling, but unfortunately nothing's come up yet. Maybe I'll start looking in L.A.?

@Rorie: You've got a legion of fans who'll follow you anywhere, Rorie. But here's hoping you can find a fulfilling option at home in San Fran.
