Crappy jokes on a crappy show, no surprise there.
Disney have stomped the haters with some Star Wars content!
Ah this is fine. After dancing Han Solo this seems damn near reverent. The writing on the other hand...yeesh.
Also if I met real R2 I'd squee like a girl.
@42manZ: Adventure Time looks a little to stupid for my tastes and The Last Airbender finished. That was great. I haven't watched the new Avatar though because I missed the first season and have a huge backlog of shows and games. So it's waiting. Besides that though, everything else on kids t.v. sucks. Especially since there's less cartoons and more shows with real stupid kid actors making (kind of) sexual jokes and saying things that are completely fucking stupid. Hell, I enjoy watching Nick Jr. shows with my nephew more then regular kids shows. I miss t.v. from the early 2000's and before. I sound like an old man. But whatever!
At least it's obvious about what it is and it's Disney taking advantage of a license they bought. I can't put my finger on it but I'm totally okay with this, if only because I haven't given a shit about Star Wars the universe in a long time.
@awesomeusername No I get it, around 2000 is when I became too old for cartoons and stopped watching them. In fact the first time I watched Avatar it was kind of after I had gotten out of cartoons and thought it was dumb (I watched the show years later and loved it). I remember feeling the same way and missed kids shows from the mid 90s. I think it's just that growing out of that stuff, and it takes something that really jumps out to get you interested in that stuff.
I watched the follow-up to Avatar and liked it better, but I know some people who loved Avatar and don't like it at all.
That was AWESOME!Prepare to be amazed! Star Wars dancing. Its been going on for years. They're doing Star Wars stuff for kids, it still doesn't make me dislike Star Wars though.
I never realized that R2D2 had a sexy body

I dont give two shits about R2 being exploited. What I do care about is the fuck bomb god awful acting in that show. Fuck you Disney!
It's a sitcom on a kids network. Most child actors are terrible more of the time, it's a rule of thumb. Just ask Rorie.
@42manZ: I stopped watching cartoons not to long ago. It's been like 3 years since I watched them. They've just turned so bad and they've started doing less cartoons too. It's more real shows with terrible kid actors and the worse jokes. I can still watch a good cartoon and enjoy it like Star Wars: The Clone Wars or Avatar but everything else just looks really stupid or shitty. I feel like watching Pink Panther right now. Hell, they even ruined that! Have you seen the newer Pink Panther? They made it more cartooney. Ew. Now I just feel like I'm bitching about everything. Forget everything I said. I'm going to go watch Boomerang.
Oh GOD that show. Urch. This brings back horrible flashbacks....hours upon hours of Hannah Montana and...whatever the name of the show with the twins was. I was attending my little niece....the horror.....must...kill...myself...to....forget.....ARGH
Disney channel is the root of all modern day evil. With that said, I have faith in them for the movies.

Yoda is currently being used to sell phones on British TV. How is doing this, or anything else, worse?
Star Wars can literally only go up from this point.
And the advert is awful.
Its a good job star wars has always been pretty terrible, or else people would notice a decline in quality of the property

I know. Still it was some of the worst acting I have ever seen, and am I little more dead inside for having seen it.
Disney + Star Wars = Star Tours. Both versions of that are fantastic, so I'm hopeful that what will be coming will not suck.
In order to maintain their perception of a plausible SW universe, serious fans of SW would have to ignore so much of the canon SW content out there that it would likely cause fans enough cognitive dissonance to achieve the stress threshold for spontaneous combustion. Truly, George Lucas has done the impossible.

One new good movie and people will be on their knees yelling "OH STAR WARS HOW I LOVE THEE!". Back in the saddle.
this ^^^^^ everyone remember when super hero movies sucked and now you have nolans trilogy, marvels assorted heroes, and soon to be superman film.

This is awful and therefore fantastic. While I understand why fans of the series may be bummed out by this, I don't have a huge investment in the Star Wars universe, I don't think it was the most serious thing to begin with, and I think plenty of silly and shameless things have been done with the series before now. I supported the Star Wars Christmas Special, I supported the dancing mini-game in that Kinect title, and God damn do I support this.
Yeah, I have to go with what he said, even if I found the video pretty cringeworthy (only because it seems like such an awful show to begin with).
Disney has gone too far, too fucking far. That is the worst fucking sitcom I have ever fucking seen. Kill me now

Watching people get so upset over something so trivial pleases me greatly. I hope Disney buys up some more stuff so I can see even more rage.
C3PO was pretty at the end there IMO.
