Do swiss cake rolls expire?

So I found some swiss cake rolls....still all wrapped up and everything....looking delicious....

The thing is, I have no idea how long I've had them. I haven't had swiss cake rolls in a while. It could've been months, a year, or YEARS!

There's no box to them either, so I need some help. Should I scarf these things down instantly, or beware? They've gotta be like twinkies....right?

EDIT : Oh yeh I did and they were amazing but I hope I'm not gonna die. Even though I always kind of feel like I'm going to die after finishing some swiss cake rolls.

How in the hell did you allow swiss cake rolls to go uneaten for so long that expiration was even an issue?

I have a basket where I keep sweet stuff. One package of them must've fell out of a box of them I put in there. It was hidden under other unhealthy things.

But it was like finding a 10 dollar bill in a pocket that you forgot about. Except that the 10 bill might have mold on it and be indigestible.

I keep forgetting to select the "digestible" button at the ATM, grrr.

Swiss rolls are Twinkies are very different. While they may seem much the same the Twinkie is like a cockroach. While Swiss Roll.....is a Swiss Roll. Its just cake rolled up with jam and or cream. Twikies are made to last forever Swiss Rolls arnt.

Besides Id have still eaten it even it was stale.
