If I find something funny but not enough to laugh, I might type "haha" or "lol." But if actually laugh out loud, I usually say I rofl'd my pants or something along those lines.
I end sentences with lol or XD like it's punctuation, although that's mostly in the IRC. I'm nearly constantly laughing, which only makes me laugh harder when people think they're getting rises out of me. Win-win. So yes. Most of the time I do utter a verbal exclamation.
