I have been noticing a few more adds on the site lately that aren't Whiskey Media related. Whenever I see a new one I usually click on it quickly just so maybe Giantbomb.com actually makes this thing called money. As the site doesn't have memberships (which i would totally pay for) I feel the is the next best thing to do. Your thoughts?
While it is whiskey media related, i usually always click on the comic vine ad with the catwoman cosplayer or wonderwoman on the can cosplayer. I know same person.
i just noticed the conan ad on the front page, and clicked it wondering if it was giantbomb related lol. those comicvine ads i clicked on as well, but i dunno, those aren't really the type of ads i think of when i think of ads on a website.
How does GB not have ads? It's kindof a good thing I guess... but it makes no sense how they make money. If I ran a site I'd just say "No ads, but click the donate button!"
I think it's already been proven that video game fans can actually donate a decent amount of cash.. just look at the 1UP guys.
Wow I'm suprised by the number of people who don't see ads. About 1 in every 3 times I click into a topic a banner appears on the right side of the screen.
I have AdBlocker Plus activated but when I heard that the ads were out, I temporarily disabled it and clicked on a few ads like 15 times each. Anything for these guys.

I do on occasion. Usually whenever I see a new ad I'll click it.
Excuse me if this is a rude thing to ask, but what kind of idiots click on website ads? If I do, I guarantee you it was on accident and I'll be closing the window immediately.
@TheGreatGuero: i don't click on the ads because they interest me, that would be kind of stupid when you could just google the game and get WAY more info quickly. I do it because in a very tiny way it helps giantbomb continue running. Which is something we all can agree on we want to happen.
I click on every ad I can whilst on GB, just to help the guys out. I dont have an iphone/ipod touch but have even considered buying the app just so I can give the guys some money towards this fantastic site.
