yes i am one
Do you consider humans to be animals?
I am an organism, with similar necessities of life to pretty much any creature in existence. All human's are as I am. So yes, we are all animals. Anyone who says otherwise is compensating for their tiny W.A.N.G.
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Primates
Family: Hominidae
Genus: Homo
Species: Homo Sapiens
Subspecies: Homo Sapiens Sapiens
But that's just what science says.
I voted yes we are, but I would love to hear what the people who voted no have to say about why they said no. Regardless of the kind of answers I may get, it would be interesting to try to understand the mindsets of these people.
I always considered myself a fun guy.
EDIT: In all seriousness though, socially we aren't exactly considered animals. After all, bestiality is frowned upon and described as the act of having sex with an animal. If we considered ourselves animals, then any sex between two humans would be considered bestiality under this definition.
" @Wolverine said:That's why he said tool makers. Chimps will use tools, but they'll never have the cognition to conceptualize creation." We are animals by definition. What seperates us from all other animals though is that we are tool makers. "Not exactly true. Some chimpanzees have been known to use bent sticks to attract ants. "
Also of course we are animals. I can see a bible thumper try and make a case against that...but that's on their version of Earth that's 50,000 years old so what do they know?

Biologically, of course. I do believe that humanity as a whole occupies a tier above and beyond all other creatures though. After all, I've yet to see or hear about any other creature put a bunch of metal and liquid together and shoot past the atmosphere of the planet. Or, on a smaller basis, intentionally make a tool that enabled them to make yet another tool.
But yeah, the space thing. Christ, we're insane.
I suppose we are but nah dude, start sayin that and it makes it harder to pull the trigger on bambi's mom

I'm not sure the definition of bestiality works like that. It's the practice of a human having sex with a non-human animal, not animals in general getting it on.
