Just sitting here eating burger king wondering what people eat first
Sitting inside a restaurant, it's usually fries first then the burger. Riding in a vehicle, it's usually burger first.
Edit: While reading a few posts after this one I decided to clarify a bit. At least when I'm inside of a restaurant, I focus on eating the fries first, but usually eat some of the burger while eating the fries, but I typically finish the fries first. However, nothing changes when I'm riding in someone's car though, I typically eat the burger in its entirety before starting on fries.
Now if I'm at my college's cafeteria, I do eat things one at a time though, not sure why.
I'm weirdly against the idea of eating one item and then moving to the next. This is all on one plate because it's meant to be enjoyed together. Goes for most meals. Generally speaking, there will be a few fries leftover after I've finished the burger.
This.

I feel the same, generally.

I am not a god damn robot.
I take bites of the burger and then also eat a few fries at the same time to get a combination of the flavors.
Mostly I will eat my fries first, but I'll take a bite of my burger or chicken sandwich or wahtever once I'm done with half the fries.
It's because I hate cold fries.
I try to eat them concurrently but it usually ends up with me finishing the fries last

Fries then burger like a normal person. Unless I get like a plain ol cheeseburger, in which case I put the fries on the burger and eat the leftover fries after. It always feels weird to have fries left after the burger though.
I don't like fries and I don't eat them even if they come with whatever I ordered. So I guess my answer would be hamburger. When I do eat a meal with multiple things, I always finish one before moving onto the next. I like to taste each thing individually and not have a bunch of different tastes all mixed together.
The instant I pick up a hamburger, I don't put it down until I finish it, generally.
In addition, I could care less about the fries. They're there to distract me from enjoying my burger. I'll get to them after I'm finished.
Unless they're cheese fries, in which case I'm torn, but I'll usually eat them first.
Burger first since that's what I came for. I'd rather have left over fries than a half eaten burger.
What am I, a beast? Of course I'd eat a little bit of both.
Usually, fries are finished last since the burger is the main point of the meal, but that back and forth is important. Waiting would mean eating one of them once they had gotten colder. It's optimal to eat a bit of both while at their freshest.
Whenever I find myself eating a burger I usually eat a few fries first before I take a bite of my burger.
Fries first. Always. And if I had my way, I would have whoever eats the burger first be put in jail for at least 25 years.
I'll probably grab a few fries before taking my first bite of the burger, but I'll put that burger down and have some more fries before I finish it. Back and forth, sipping on my drink as well.
First I take a nibble of my burger and savor it's juicy flavor and texture. Then after washing it down with a swig from a fine beverage I begin to sample my fries. I will then take another bite of my delicious burger. At this point I tend to then finish the fries so that I may take a good swallow of my chosen drought and then proceed in earnest to my hamburger delicacy.
Yeah, that's about right.
A little bit of both but you gotta go fries first more. Don't let em get cold!
Also fries on your burger is great.
Depends. If I'm driving, I'll eat the fries first. If I'm eating at the place, I eat a little of both.
I feel like it's super weird if people break down their meals into such rigid stages. Eat all of it at once.

I just went to McDonalds and got a BBQ Ranch Burger. This burger is a lie and has frito things on it it does not have BBQ nor ranch.
To answer your question - does it really fucking matter? Let someone shove food into their dumb face however they want and don't ask me why they do it that way. The correct answer is to have a palate and enjoy eating each item at the same time not eating one thing then another like a dumb baby.
I don't even understand why you would wait. The point is the variety. I don't really like fries though.
Burger->Fries->Drink
Sometimes I may sip some of the drink before I'm done eating, but this is rare. I do fries second because if it's fast food then they go into the box the burger was in and ketchup goes in the other side unoccupied by fries, if it's at sit down and eat restaurant I go burger first because they are generally more filling and I'd rather leave some fries than leave some burger.
If I'm in the car, I eat the french fries first since it's easier to just dip my hand into the bag and grab some of those. Otherwise, I eat the burger first then the french fries.
You know, it's odd. Fast food is pretty much the only kind of food where I have a set order. Normally I just eat everything at once.
Fries taste terrible if you have to reheat them.
Burgers can be reheated fine.
I eat the fries first. If I don't they're going straight into the trash.
